The Institute of Management Nirma University, earlier known as Nirma Education and Research Foundation, a Trust founded by Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel, the chairman of the multi-product Nirma group of companies. The Institute became a Constituent Institute of Nirma University of Science and Technology, Ahmedabad in the year 2003. The Institute offers Post Graduate Programmes, PhD. Programme, and training and consulting to the corporate world. The post-graduate programmes are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation.
The mission of the institute is to be one of the best business schools in the Asia Pacific Region by developing leaders and entrepreneurs through cutting edge and relevant management education and development, conducting applied research, and preparing instructional resources. It is located at the outskirts of Ahmedabad, a metro town in the Western India. Its unique location helps strengthen industry-institute interface and to provide an opportunity to the students to do industry-oriented projects. It offers six specializations in its MBA (full-time ) programme. The Institute also offers major and minor specializations with a view to meet the varying needs of the students. It also launched a MBA of family business.
Infrastructure and facilities are the backbone of any institution. We have world-class infrastructure and facilities. Our academic building is situated in a campus of 110 acres. The area of the academic building is 15000 sq.m. and it is centrally air conditioned. The building has about 20 classrooms, an auditorium, an art gallery, a library complex, a computer centre, a faculty block and an administrative block. The institute has a large infrastructure specially built for its in its university complex spanning 110 acres.
