National Law Institute University NLIU Bhopal was established in 1998 by an act of the State Legislature of Madhya Pradesh in 1997. National Law Institute University is Recognised by the Bar Council of India, the university admits only 80 undergraduates each year who complete 15 rigorous trimesters before being awarded a combined B.A., LL.B (Hons.) degree. The post-graduate course offered at the university is the LL.M. degree. Currently National Law Institute University has ranked third by the India Today rankings of law colleges in the country; NLIU was modeled on the lines of the earlier established National Law School of India University at Bangalore.

NLIU Bhopal Eligibility:
The Candidate should have passed 10+2 with 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks or its equivalent
The age limit for admission is 21 years.

NLIU Bhopal Course Structure
The National Law Institute University offers an integrated academic 5-year BA LLB (Hons.) program. There are 80 seats for this course. 50% of the seats are reserved for students from Madhya Pradesh and the remaining are for students from all over India. A total of 63 compulsory subjects (credit and non-credit) are offered to the students. Out of the 17 seminar papers offered, students must select 10 for their elective specializations.

NLIU Bhopal Admission:
Admission to the BA LLB (Hons.) course is based on an All India Entrance Test conducted each year.
