The institute belonging to one of the oldest educational societies of the country has been leveraging its heritage and enmeshing with the modern approaches and bringing out well honed managers from its management school since 1991. Located hi Pune, the educational capital of Maharashtra and India, Neville Wadia Institute of Management Studies and Research was started by the Modern Education Society, who enjoys the patronage of Mr. Nusli Wadia, Chairman Bombay Dyeing Ltd. The institute is affiliated to the University of Pune and is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Government of Maharashtra.
The parent body of the Institute, i.e. Modern Education Society was founded in 1932 by leading educationist like Prin Joag, Prin Suru etc. The NWIMSR was launched in 1991 by the same Society. The vision being: We create human brands for future, We believe planning, persistence and perseverance are keys to progress. For Neville Wadians sky is not the limit, it is the destination. NWIMSR is centrally located, very close to the railway station, ST stand and airport. It has a spacious playground and full-fledged hostel facility. The environment is conducive to the fulfillment of professional and personal needs. Besides MBA/MMS courses, NWIMSR also has other post graduation courses like MCM, MPM, PGDBM.
Programme specialties: Various autonomous courses like Diploma in Commercial French, Japanese, German, Software Testing, Cyber Crime Management, and Insurance Management are offered simultaneously with the University curriculum also. The MoU between NWIMSR and University of Uganda will be signed shortly wherein this Institute will impart distance learning PG Diplomas in management to students in Uganda This is the first International ven¬ture.
Student Profile: Students are in the average age group between 20-25 and there are 50% male and 50% female students. Also, foreign students from various countries like Mauritius, Iran, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ethiopia with adequate work experience give their first preference to this Institute.
Placement Record: MWIMSR has an excellent placement record with giant multinational organizations and reputed Indian corporate who visit the campus for the summer and final placements.
