In face of the unprecedented managerial challenges thrown up by the new economical order, MGM continues its proud tradition of enriching the human resource needs of the country by setting up in 1994, the MGM Institute of Management Studies & Research (MGM IMSR)The institute conducts two year full time Master of Management Studies (MMS) programme affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized by the AICTE.The institute has been shifted to its new campus which provides state-of-art infrastructure facilities and academic resources to its participants for nurturing and honing the management skills imparted in the lecture rooms.
Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s is a charitable trust, registered under the society’s Registration Act. (1860) in 1982, with its prime objective of Social welfare, Human Resource Development, Medical Care, Education, Forestry and Environment, Mass Communication, Sports & Fine Art. The founders are a group of Engineers, Doctors led by the Chairman, Kamalkishore Kadam, Ex-minister of Education, Maharastra state, an engineer himself having masters1 degree from IIT, Mumbai, Mahatma Gandhi Mission has achieved unprecedented growth and occupied a prestigious niche with quality education and the discipline in the institutes run by it.
MGM believes in imparting quality education and over the years it has been proved with MGM pass-outs having employed in the best of institutions. Total student strength on the roll of MGM is around 10,000. In addition to this the mission has got institutes providing education in computer science, journalism, mass communication, law, fine arts, performing arts, library science, education science etc. along with post graduate courses in bio informatics, astrophysics, electronics and other research institutions. The mission has also undertaken several projects to promote environment activities for the equilibrium of ecology.
