Telecom industry is facing a boomtime requiring managers of extraordinary skills and discipline. Sensing this opportunities a number of business schools have started offering optionals in telecommunication area and in cases like ICTM, the initiative has been taken to go in for a full fledged school preparing telecom managers,
ICTM was set up in 2002 and is run by a Charitable Trust Sri Balaji Society spearheaded by Prof. (Col.) A.Balasubramanian as its president. The focus of this institute lies in seeing itself as one among the Top Premier B-Schools in India and it is established to provide managerial manpower to the telecom industry. The institute is located on the outskirts of Pune close to the Hmjewadi campus, the InfoTech Park of Pune.
ICTM produces student managers equipped additionally with IT and Telecom management besides the standard MBA courses. The program specialty of the institute is that students are enabled for all the sectors of the industry along with catering to the niche segment of the ever-changing and dynamic Telecom Industry. ICTM also offers programmes in International Business, Mass Communication and in Telecom Management. Distance Learning Programmes as well as Graduation Courses is also offered by sister concerns of ICTM. The batch composition is usually 70% engineers and rest from other streams. The institute has got an excellent mix of fresher and work experience students. The college has a proven track record of 100% placements where its students have been readily accepted by blue chip organizations. The placement budget is around 25 lacs and ICTM does take any fees for placements from the student as well as corporate. ICTM has assigned some faculties to placement cell who work round the year. Infrastructure details:
