This remarkable turnaround and growth of the institution happened in the last one decade even though the institute was started as early as 1973. Until 1994 the institute remained as management training institu¬tion on the line of Administrative Staff College of India. In that year, the institute started offering graduate programme in management after carefully weighing its strength, a trait it has preserved and widely practices to date. The institute derives its unique strength from its ability to intuitively sense and intelligently respond to market needs, and to design new activities and offering based on the emerging environment.
The Institute has well-defined vision, mission, objectives and goals.
